How to Contribute

We welcome contributions from philosophers, writers, and critical thinkers who want to share their insights with our community. Here’s how you can get involved.


Why Contribute?

Philosophy Spread is built on the belief that wisdom grows when shared. By contributing content, you:

  • Join a community dedicated to logical reasoning and philosophical inquiry.
  • Get your ideas in front of an engaged audience of thinkers.
  • Help make philosophical insights more accessible to everyone.

Ways to Contribute

1. Submit Essays

Share your original philosophical essays on topics ranging from ethics and logic to epistemology and metaphysics. We’re looking for well-reasoned, thoughtful pieces that provoke meaningful discussion.


What we’re looking for:

  • Original arguments or fresh perspectives on classic philosophical questions.
  • Clear, coherent writing with a strong logical structure.
  • A traditional essay length, up to 3,000 words.
  • Essays that build a case and arrive at a conclusion. We strongly encourage pieces that do not end on an open-ended question.
  • Proper citations where applicable.

How to submit: Email a shareable Google Doc link to your essay to goeltanmay442@outlook.com with the subject “Essay Submission - [Your Title]”. Please ensure the link permissions are set to “Anyone with the link can comment.”

We would also really appreciate it if you share any background research or notes exploring the thought process you went through while writing. This can be included at the end of the document.


2. Submit Idea Bits

Our “Idea Bits” section features short, punchy philosophical insights meant to spark quick contemplation. These are bite-sized ideas perfect for busy minds.


What we’re looking for:

  • A small, bite-sized read, up to 800 to 900 words.
  • Can be provocations, questions, or small arguments.
  • Quick intro to some topic to start the intial thought
  • philosophical thought experiments are more than welcomed
  • Recommended to end with an open-ended question to allow the reader to think and engage in critical thinking.
  • Perfect for mobile reading.

How to submit: Email a shareable Google Doc link to your bit to goeltanmay442@outlook.com with the subject “Bit Submission - [Your Concept]“.


3. Help Improve Our Logic Modules

We are committed to the accuracy of our educational content. While we are not currently accepting new logic module proposals from external contributors, you can help us improve what we already have.


How you can help:

  • If you find an error, an unclear explanation, or have a suggestion for improving an existing module, please report it to us.

How to submit feedback: Email a brief description of the issue to goeltanmay442@outlook.com with the subject “Logic Module Feedback”.


Review Process

All submissions go through the following process:


  1. Initial review: We review your submission for fit and quality.
  2. Feedback: If accepted, we may suggest edits or revisions.
  3. Publication: Once finalized, your content will be scheduled for publication.

Content Guidelines


  • Originality and No AI Slop: All submissions must be your original work. We have a strict policy against low-effort, purely AI-generated content. Submissions must be thoughtful and reflect your unique perspective.

  • AI-Assisted Content: You are allowed to use AI tools for brainstorming or grammar checks, but the core argument, structure, and final text must be your own. Your contribution must be a product of your own critical thought.

  • Respect: Maintain constructive, respectful discourse.

  • Clarity: Write clearly and avoid unnecessary jargon.

  • Accuracy: Ensure factual claims are accurate and cite sources where needed.
